Transshipment Terminal in Wola Baranowska

We operate a transshipment terminal at the PKP LHS railway station in Wola Baranowska (Hrubieszów PL / Izov UA border crossing).

The terminal is equipped with grain silos, a storage hall with an internal conveyor belt system, transshipment equipment, storage yards—including a designated cargo area for container handling—as well as both standard-gauge (1435 mm) and broad-gauge (1520 mm) rail infrastructure. It also features 1435 mm and 1520 mm railway scales, along with truck scales.

We offer on-site laboratory facilities for quality control and employ certified staff for sample collection. The entire premises are monitored by a 24/7 surveillance system.

Our Infrastructure Enables:

  • Quality and quantity control of goods
  • Transshipment of construction materials to/from covered railcars (e.g., construction chemicals, gypsum boards, OSB and MDF boards, feldspar, dolomite, building ceramics)
  • Handling of various goods in Big-Bag packaging (e.g., fertilizers, titanium ore)
  • Transshipment of bulk materials (e.g., aggregate, coal, grain)
  • Biomass transshipment (e.g., pellets, wood chips)
  • Customs-supervised transshipment operations
  • Transshipment between trucks and broad-gauge railcars (and vice versa)
  • Transshipment between standard-gauge and broad-gauge railcars (and vice versa)
  • Receiving standard and broad-gauge railcars (from the territory of Ukraine and parts of former and current CIS member states)
  • Freight forwarding and customs services, in particular customs clearance for export, import, and transit procedures.
  • Storage of goods in open yards or warehouses
  • Silo storage with a total capacity of 26,500 cubic meters
